These terms apply when you use Magical Castaway (the “service”), a free, fan-made Disney Cruise Line planning tool. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What the service does

Magical Castaway generates a personalized countdown timeline based on the sailing details you enter and, if you opt in, emails you a reminder the night before each booking window opens. That's it — there's no account, no paid tier, and no dashboard.

Service is provided “as is”

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do our best to keep dates, ship details, and booking windows accurate, but cruise line policies change and we may make mistakes. Always confirm booking windows and reservation policies with Disney Cruise Line before relying on them.

No guarantee of delivery

We send reminders on a best-effort basis using a third-party email provider. We cannot guarantee that any individual reminder will reach your inbox on time, or at all. The service is a helpful nudge, not a substitute for setting your own alarms or verifying details directly with Disney Cruise Line.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Disney Cruise Line, The Walt Disney Company, or any of their subsidiaries, affiliates, or partners. All product names, logos, ship names, and brands referenced are property of their respective owners. References to ships, venues, and programs are for informational purposes only and do not imply any official relationship.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the service to send unsolicited messages or sign up addresses you don't own.
Attempt to disrupt or overload the service, or probe it for vulnerabilities without permission.
Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or republish content from the service.
Use the service in a way that violates applicable law.

We may suspend or remove access to the service if we believe it is being misused.

Your content

You are responsible for the information you submit. You confirm that any email address you enter belongs to you or that you have permission to use it for this purpose.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We may also update these terms; if we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Magical Castaway and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service — including any missed booking window, lost reservation, or other cruise-planning outcome. Because the service is free, our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to USD $0.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these terms or the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
